Introducing our A2R+ (Acute To Recovery Plus) Model
Divided into 3 phases to address specific needs
1. Acute Phase
Addressing the Immediate Crisis
Focus is on stabilising urgent symptoms and ensuring safety. Individuals often arrive in crisis, needing immediate intervention to prevent deterioration and lay the foundation for further treatment.
2. Embed Phase
Preparing for Long-Term Stability
Focus is on ensuring a smooth transition to the community. It consolidates progress, emphasises relapse prevention, builds support systems, and equips individuals for sustainable recovery.
3. Stabilise Phase
Reducing Symptoms and Building Coping Mechanisms
Focus is on symptom control and building coping strategies. With monitoring and structured therapies, this phase delivers tailored therapeutic interventions.

IPD, or In-Patient Department, offers individuals a structured and supportive environment where they can receive intensive care for their mental health needs. IPD services at Sukoon include 24/7 monitoring, therapy sessions, and personalised treatment plans.
Psychiatrists recommend IPD for individuals who require close monitoring, comprehensive care, or advanced interventions for mental health conditions that cannot be managed effectively through outpatient services alone.
IPD treatments include medication management, individual and group therapy, holistic wellness activities, and evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient’s needs.
The duration of an IPD stay varies based on individual needs and progress, which will be determined by a psychiatrist. While some may need just a few days of care, others might require longer stays for thorough recovery.
